Visa

All former Soviet Countries (excluded Baltic countries) and Turkey do not need a visa to enter Azerbaijan.

Citizens of other countries can get a visa at the Azerbaijan consulate and/or in the Heydar Aliyev airport. So, all people who coming by bus or train (for example, Iran) must get visa on the consulate.

- Invitation requiring for consulate but not necessary for border (if you want to get visa on airpot) but if you want we can provide an invitation - please contact with ilgar@barcampcaspian.org / with subject "visa".
- Visa cost (variable for countries, for Europe is 60 euros)
- Application form - u can get it in the consulate or in the border for free (or download here: http://mfa.gov.az/eng/images/stories/downloads/applicationforvisa.pdf )
- 2 visa photos (u can make photos on the border too, but it can be expensive)

Customs rules
Foreign currency must be declared on arriving (introduced into declaration). Bringing items intended for private use is permitted free of charge; up to 600 g of caviar, up to 3 blocks cigarettes and medicines, as needed. It is permitted to export personal belongings, articles of craft and goods obtained in the country. Export of any antique goods (including precious stones, coins, transcripts and other works of art) without the permission of authorities is forbidden. Transit of narcotic substances, guns and ammunition (excluding shotguns for which permission is given), literature and video materials offending moral and violating laws of the country are forbidden (included porno).



Виза

Правила Граждан входа большинства стран СНГ не нуждаются в визе, чтобы войти в Азербайджан. Граждане других стран могут получить визу в Посольстве Азербайджана за границей и/или в аэропорту Гейдара Алиева на основе приглашения от частного человека или бюро путешествий. Консульская плата применяется. Таможня постановляет, что Иностранная валюта должна быть объявлена при прибытии (введенной в декларацию). Обеспечение пунктов, предназначенных для частного использования, разрешено бесплатно; до 600 г икры, до 3 сигарет блоков и лекарств, как необходимый. Разрешено экспортировать личное имущество, статьи ремесла и товаров, полученных в стране. Экспорт любых старинных товаров (включая драгоценные камни, монеты, расшифровки стенограммы и другие произведения искусства) без разрешения властей запрещен. Транзит наркотических веществ, оружия и боеприпасов (исключая дробовики, для которых дано разрешение), литература и видео материалы, оскорбляющие мораль и нарушающие законы страны, запрещен.
